The Bench Plane is used for the initial processing of roughly cut boards and planks, or as a follow-up after using the Scrub Plane. Unlike the Scrub Plane, the Bench Plane does not leave uneven tracks on the surface of the wood. Its blade is straight, leaving a flat surface.

The quality of the planed surface can be improved and smoothed with the Jack Plane (shaping of soft woods) or with the Smoothing Plane (medium-hard and hard woods).

In the production of the Bench Plane PREMIUM, special attention is given to the quality of processing, ergonomics and comfortable handling. The Bench Plane PREMIUM is therefore ideal for extended periods of working hours.

The sole is made of high quality solid hornbeam, the body is made of high qual- ity solid beech, both are dried down to 10 % moisture content. PREMIUM planes feature adjustable blade mechanism allowing quick and accurate blade setting, which is ideal for beginners. We supply variant P/S with blade STANDARD, variant P/P with blade PROFI.>b
