The SOCKET CHISEL is an ideal hand tool for the carpenter and boat builder and is ideal for working in inaccessible places. Socket chisel handles are less likely to break than tang chisels, and can be replaced easily.These chisels are particularly comfortable in the hand and have excellent balance.

MHG takes special care of the Socket chisel blades, made from high-grade Chrome-Vanadium steel, and guarantees a hardness of 61° RC and excellent edge holding through-out the used part of the blade. Carefully ground, featuring true bevel edges for clearance and minimal friction when working into an angled corner, this is one of the finest quality chisels available today.

The special feature of this carpenter chisel is the opportunity to exchange the handles. The handles made of oiled ash with and without clamp are ergonomically shaped and are comfortable in the hand.
